How It Works
Take an empty standard can and wash it
thoroughly. We recommend ring pull cans as there are less sharp edges.
ALWAYS HANDLE OPEN CANS WITH GREAT
CARE!
Push the Wasp Can attachment over the
open end so that it snaps on. If you intend to hang your wasp trap fix
a length of string t the eyelets on the sides of the Wasp Can.
Bait is used to attract and drown
Wasps. The best baits are solutions of sugar or jam in water. To
prepare the solutions (for use in 3 traps) put 2 heaped dessert spoons
of sugar or jam in a container and add about half a pint of boiling
water.
Pour the bait through the funnel part
of the Wasp Can, filling each can a third fill. The bait should be
effective for at least a week.
When using outdoors position baited
wasp traps downwind from the areas you want to protect. Do not place
them on garden tables or close to where food is to be eaten.
IF CHILDREN ARE IN THE VICINITY IT IS
RECOMMENDED THAT THE TRAPS ARE POSITIONED OUT OF THEIR REACH.
Using a number of wasp traps will
ensure better results outdoors. When using indoors it is best to use
only one trap in a room. |
